Czech-Emirati Business Forum 2019 is organized by the Czech Business Council Dubai in co-operation with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to establish new business relations and opportunities between the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates.

CBC is both the host and the organizer, so we will do our best to make our Emirati friends feel good during their stay in the Czech Republic. ‘We know that they are interested in our country and that we are attracted to them not only as a tourist destination.

I am very pleased we will be able to introduce them to our history, culture, and the present,’ says JUDr. Pavel Foubík, President of the Czech Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The topics discussed as part of the Business Forum will include innovation, robotics, artificial intelligence, smart cities, certification, aviation, air traffic control, tourism, healthcare, spa industry, glass industry, and world expo organization.

Among the members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce delegation, we will welcome the elites of the economic and commercial lives of the United Arab Emirates, such as H.E. Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, H.E. Humaid Ben Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chamber of Commerce & Industry, H.E. Hamad Buamim, President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and 15 other high-ranking Dubai businessmen.

The Czech delegation will be led by Mr. Jan Dejl, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of The Czech Republic, and Mr. David Koppitz, Deputy Minister for Regional Development.

All official and side events will be attended by the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Czech Republic, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Mohamed Almaainah. The Czech-Emirati Business Forum is a project that has been prepared for a long time in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abu Dhabi, the foreign office of the agency CzechTrade in Dubai, and the agency CzechTourism.

Over the past five years, the CBC has organized several similar events in the field of Czech-Emirati relations, particularly in Dubai, but none has been on such a scale. This event is exceptional for its extraordinarily strong and high-quality visitors, which further motivates us to try and make the most of the offered opportunity.

For those who are considering entering the Emirati market or just want to learn more about the business opportunities in tourism or about the economic, legal, and tax news inDubai, two thematic round tables are held at the hotel in the afternoon of the first day of the program, which will be moderated by top experts from these fields.

On the next day, the forum will move to Karlovy Vary, where the Mayor of Karlovy Vary, Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, and the Chairwoman of the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic, Jana Mračková Vildumetzová, will welcome the delegation.

In addition to visiting the glassworks, important Karlovy Vary hotels, and medical facilities, we will introduce the members of the delegation to the atmosphere of the 54th International Film Festival.
