JAN HANÁK – JUMPER OF THE YEAR
Jan has been recently promoted to the position of Managing Director for UAE, Oman, Qatar & Bahrain within the Radisson Hotel Group. Jan moved to Dubai in August 2018 as a General Manager for the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek. Under his management this iconic Dubai hotel has cemented its position as a leading provider of accommodation, events and catering services. Jan has started his hospitality career in Radisson SAS Alcron hotel in Prague at the age of 21 and moved to London as a revenue manager after completing his university degree in finance and economy. Jan was one of the youngest General Managers within the group when appointed as a General Manager in Belfast, Norther Ireland at the age of 32. In addition to his experience from the UK, Jan has also managed some of the company flagship properties in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.

CZECH MINT HOLDS A WORLD RECORD In 2019 Czech Mint produced the largest milled coin on the order of the Czech National Bank. The nominal value of the coin is 100 million Czech Koruna to honour the 100th anniversary of the national currency. The coin measures over half a meter in diameter and is made out of 130 kilograms of pure gold. This one-of-a-kind Czech treasure was recently presented in the Czech pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai. Nowadays it can be adored by visors in the vault of the Czech National bank.
